Happy Friday, everyone!

Well, I’m happy to say that, after spending most of last week feeling ill and stressed, this week has been a much happier one all round. Not only did we make good progress with the redesign of both this site and The Fashion Police, on Monday ShoeperMan and I got the good news that our offer had been accepted on a new house, which means I’ll be packing up my shoes (big job) and moving out in just a couple of weeks’ time.

Naturally, we’re really excited, and not even the torrential rain we had in the second half of the week has been able to dampen my spirits so far. On Thursday, I got caught in a massive downpour while walking the dog (Not in the shoes shown: I had changed into flats because I’d intended the walk to be a long one, but… not so much), and got absolutely soaked to the skin. On Thursday, I was determined not to make the same mistake again, so I wore my new Mel heart shoes, and my feet stayed dry, even although the pavements definitely weren’t. They’re definitely much more fun than wellies, that’s for sure!
