Net-a-Porter added further items, and further reductions, to their sale this morning, which means it’s a dangerous time for credit cards and bank accounts across the land. In fact, every time Net-a-Porter has a sale, my bank manager hides under his desk and refuses to come out until it’s over.

I’ve already generously donated some funds to Kurt Geiger this month, so I’d be sitting on my hands right now if I didn’t need them to type this post – but for those of you with money to burn, here are some of my top picks from the shoe sale.

I’m kicking off with Miu Miu’s fabulous glitter leather loafers (above). These were already comparatively well-priced for designer shoes (by which I mean they weren’t remotely cheap, but compared to some shoes I could mention, they seemed almost reasonable) at the original price of £370, but now those of you who wear sizes 39.5, 40 or 40.5 can snap them up for £259. I’ll try not to be too jealous.

They’re not exactly the cheapest shoes around, even with up to 70% off, but if you fancy picking up some designer footwear this week, the Net-a-Porter sale is now on, featuring some previous Shoeperwoman picks, such as the Donna Karan raffia peep toes and Christian Louboutin Annees Folles pumps shown above, plus lots of other designer names.

If you don’t want to buy now, it’s always worth keeping an eye on the Net-a-Porter sale page - the real bargains come in the last week or so!
