Shoe Challenge # 49: Unseasonal

What: Christian Louboutin Jefferson Plato slingbacks
When: Wednesday, September 29th, 2010
Where: Working, errands
With: New Look bow cardigan, black treggings, enormous hair

When I started my Shoe Challenge, back in January, I always knew that there would come a point where my “use ’em or lose ’em” rule forced me to wear peep toes in freezing cold weather. As it turns out, that day was today: sorry, charity stores, but you’ll have to pry these shoes from my cold, dead feet.

Luckily for me, my feet aren’t actually cold (nor, indeed, dead) in these today, because it’s not too freezing outside, and my schedule doesn’t involve being out there for more than a couple of minutes at a time anyway, so I’m sure I’ll cope.

This is actually the third time I’ve worn these shoes since I bought them, and I’m happy to report that as well as being super-comfortable in spite of the 5.5″ heel, the black and cream colourway works with so many of my clothes that I can already tell these will be in constant rotation next summer.

  • I didn’t like the shoes in the previous post, but I have to say I like them on and they look great with the outfit 😀
I bought so many peep-toe shoes this month that I have a feeling I’ll be wearing them in cold weather too 😛
    Also, LOVE the big hair!

  • Agh. I seem to have come down with a massive and unsightly case of shoe envy. As the only thing that can cure it would be a pair of Louboutins of my own, I’m doomed to suffer.
