Schuh ‘Tallulah’ floral print sandals, £45

The floral theme continues this week, with Schuh’s ‘Tallulah’ sandals providing us with yet more evidence that spring is on the way – in  the fashion world, at least.

These sandals have a lovely criss-cross design to the straps, and if I hadn’t already seen the price of them, I’d have assumed they were by LK Bennett or similar: they definitely look like they cost more than £45 anyway! The price is just one of the plus-points of these shoes though: I also really like the ditsy print upper, which contains so many different colours that these really should work with just about anything. Personally, I think floral print shoes (or ANY printed shoes, really) look best with a block colour, as they’re a bit too “busy” to work with another pattern, but then again, I’ve never been one for pattern-mixing, so if you think you can make it work, go for it!

As for me, well, it would appear that last month’s obsession with pink has been replaced with an obsession with baby blue (although pink would work just as well here, too!):

This outfit is made up of “favourites” for me. I love each item individually, but I love them even more together! (Unfortunately the necklace sold out sometimes between me creating the image and getting the link, so I’m hoping they’ll re-stock it. It may still be available in-store, too, if you want to take a look). The beauty of these shoes, however, is that they’ll go with many other colours, but will look particularly good with all of those spring pastels I keep banging on about.) Personally, though? I’d definitely go with that good ol’ baby blue…
