These shoes are slightly odd ones at first glance: the heel isn’t really high enough to justify the wedge, and there’s a part of me that wishes they’d just make up their mind what they want to be – wedge or non-wedge. I think I’m willing to let them off with it, however, because the rest of the shoe is just divine: the green and gold uppers make for a glorious combination, and I love the way the two have been combined on both the heel and the upper, alternating between the gold leather and the green suede. Add a little green flower on the toe, and you have a beautiful and unusual shoe that would be perfect for parties. So yes, I think I can just about forgive the odd little heel!
These are £84 at Oli.
I would definitely buy these and may look on ebay for them – I have a few pairs of Irregular Choice shoes with that type of heel in I think in real life it looks pretty good. And I love the colour – they’re beautiful!

I like these and I even like that little heel.
Ordinarily I hate that sort of heel, but the rest of the shoe, as you say, totally makes up for it!
