Have you met Curvy Girl Thin? She’s one of the members of my Pinterest group board for fashion bloggers, and she’s also the reason I’ve decided I need a hi-low skirt in my life, STAT – and don’t even get me started on those shoes! (They’re out of stock, unfortunately, or I’d be snapping them up right now…)
This is the perfect summer wedding guest outfit, and I love the fact that every item could easily be worn again: one of the beauties of buying separates rather than dresses is that they’re so much more versatile, allowing you to create a few different looks, and get more value for money. That’s particularly important with occasionwear, I find – because who wants to buy a dress, and only ever wear it to one event? Exactly. I’m a particular fan of the gold and white look, of course, which always looks striking to me – and just a little more “special”, somehow, than many other colours. This particular skirt is by Elvi Clothing, and is currently on sale for £49.50. Alternatively, Chi Chi London’s ‘Mabel’ skirt is a similar style, and is £57.99.
You can visit Curvy Girl Thin’s blog here, or follow her on Twitter or Instragram. If you’d like one of your outfits to feature here on ShoeperWoman, meanwhile, all you have to do is follow the group board on Pinterest, then either comment on one of my pins there, or send me a quick email (don’t forget to include your Pinterest user name!) to amber[@]hotigloo.co.uk. I’ll be continuing to feature some of my fellow ShoeperWomen here on the blog, but even if your outfit isn’t selected, the board currently has just under 500,000 followers, making it a good way to promote your own blog on Pinterest. Hope to see you there – and once you’ve been approved, feel free to invite your fashion blogger friends, too!
