These boots were designed by Lady Gaga’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti, and, well, it shows, doesn’t it? That dramatic silhouette, finished off with the curved stiletto heel, is very Gaga-esque, and also rather implausible looking when considered as actual footwear: the heel looks almost as if it’s ready to collapse at any second!
It isn’t, of course, and these are presumably more than capable of bearing your weight for as long as you care to walk in them. Not that that’s likely to be a very long time, mind you: the heel is 7″, and while the platform comes in at 2.3″, you’ll still feel like you’re walking on a 5″ heel, making these strictly “car-to-bar” boots!
What do you think of them, though? I actually really like them, even if only to look at!
They’re $1,690: click here to follow in Gaga’s curved-heel footsteps…
That price!!! I can’t even have them as “car-to-bar”!!! But I confess I’d have liked them more with a straight heel. Could be boring, but I’d have liked them better…
I just don’t feel like those heels would support any weight. Even though I “know” they would.
Love it… but oh the price tag! I need to get the “inspiration” version from Topshop.
I could wear those and bump my height up to six-foot-six. That alone would be almost worth the price.
