I’m not a big fan of lace, and, as shocking as this admission will probably be to many of you, I’ve never been a huge fan of Jimmy Choo. I know: shoe blogger who doesn’t go crazy for Choo – who ever heard of such nonsense?
I should probably clarify that by saying that I don’t dislike Jimmy Choo, either: it’s just never been my favourite brand: or not until now, because these shoes could seriously start to change my mind. Look:
The curved sides would’ve made these stunning in any fabric, but I think the lace adds something special to these shoes, giving them a very delicate, feminine kind of feel. They have a 4 3/4″ heel with a small platform, and they’re $995 at Bergdorf Goodman. Well, there had to be some bad news along with the good stuff, didn’t there?

I’m a Choo fan (though less so of late) and love their classic range and I think these are fabulous! While they are very current I think they’d always be stylish, making them a great investment pair.
I have impossible missions: for years I’m looking for Choos with round closed toe, and Manolos with round toes too (almond would do too…) These ones now are amazing, but I would have loved and maybe even bought them (despite the price… mmmhh, maybe not…mmhhh… I’d consider!) if they were closed… 🙁
I only like some of Jimmy Choo’s designs, unlike Monsieur Louboutin. I do own one pair of Jimmys. I am with you, not usually a fan of lace on shoes but these are pretty special.
