Jimmy Choo’s ‘Abel’ is a classic pointed pump, with a high stiletto heel. Isn’t it amazing what a difference the glitter upper makes to it, though?
Kate Spade ‘Lexi’ pumps, £280
Kate Spade’s ‘Lexi’, meanwhile, is ALSO a pointed pump, but with the important distinction of having a taxi-cab design on the vamp, and around the edge of the shoe. They definitely won’t be to everyone’s taste, but if you love Kate Spade and/or novelty shoes, they might just be to yours.

At the opposite end of the shoe spectrum, these Miu Miu Mary Janes have a silver glitter upper, and a low, block heel, in gold and crystal. This is a style that’s incredibly popular right now, but which also has a bit of a 60s vibe to it too.

They may cost more than all of your Christmas gifts put together, but seriously: how sweet are these little sandals? I’d be far too scared to wear them, in case I did something to damage them forever, but if I were to find something similar under the tree on Christmas morning, I definitely wouldn’t be complaining…
