Happy Friday, ShoeperWomen! Here’s a quick look at what I’ve been coveting this week…
I’m crazy about Zara’s current collection – as you might have guessed from the number of times I’ve referenced it lately! (Spoiler alert: I’m pretty sure there’ll be plenty more references to come…) This grey wiggle dress has a workwear feel to it, making it perfect for the office: if you don’t want to wear it to work, though, a pair of over-the-knee boots will vamp it up a little, and give it a nice, retro kind of look.
One of the main items on my autumn/winter shopping list is a classic camel coat. This one from Oasis has a single button fastening, and the simple shape I’m looking for: fingers crossed it doesn’t sell out before I’m ready to decide! (I don’t know about you, but I just can’t bring myself to buy a coat in September, even although I know that’s when most of them are available!)
I bought no less than three ribbed midi dresses last year, and I practically lived in them all winter, so this year I might just allow myself to be tempted into buying a few more. This one is by Mango, and is also available in black: I love how effortlessly stylish dresses like this look – not to mention the fact that they keep you warm, in something other than jeans!
Lately I haven’t been as into retro-inspired style as I once was, but I AM still on the lookout for a few tea dresses, which I think would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Unfortunately, most f the ones I seem to find are either mini length, or so long I worry they’ll just look frumpy on me. This one by Lindy Bop is actually still a little longer than what I’ve been looking for, but it’s the closest I’ve found, so I might just have to give it a go!
This is one of those items I know I’d buy and then never wear – well, it honestly doesn’t look all that practical, does it? It’s so pretty I’m showing you it anyway, though: and if you have somewhere to wear it, well, you’re a luckier woman than me!
Have a great weekend!
