(Aside: don’t you just hate the word “bootie”? For some reason it always makes me think of Jennifer Lopez, especially when people spell it “booty”, as Browns Fashion have done with these. And they don’t even look like “booties”! Anyway…)
When these shoes were first released, I felt like the natural order of things had been reversed, and that Christian Louboutin had taken inspiration from all of those “triple bow” shows from the high street which I’ve been featuring here for the past year. The ingredients are all there: the three bows, the peep toe, the platform. In this case, however, a six inch stiletto heel has been added into the mix. Whoa, mama!
These have already been adopted as the celebrity red-carpet shoe of choice, and look amazing on. If you want to see for yourself, they’re £755 at Browns Fashion.
To me “booties” are the little knit shoes babies wear…
but these are certainly beautiful no matter the name!
I agree with caz – booties are babies’ attire.
However. These are stunning.
I don’t care what people call them but they look really nice. 🙂 I don’t mind wearing these even it was called “boobies”.
Mine just got mailed out to me (tho in beige which I thought a bit more original) and I CANT WAIT! An early 50th to myself. 😉
Where did you get them in beige?!?! I have been looking ALL over for them 🙁
I just got a pair delivered and I am in awe!!!!! Even though is has an almost 6″ heel, they are comfortable to wear. These shoe are definitely HOT TO DEF!!!!!!!
