This week’s Friday Fix was an easy one to pick: as soon as I laid eye on these ‘Pensamoi’ sandals, I couldn’t wait to show you them! (Well, after I’d finished staring at them, with my jaw on the keyboard, that is…)
These pink satin ankle-strap sandals have a very theatrical feel to them, thanks to the oversized flower attached to the strap. Not only is it big and bold, it’s also trimmed with rhinestones – you know, just in case these weren’t OTT enough four you?
In the hands of another designer, this could all have gone badly wrong, and ended up looking a little bit cheap. As it is, however, they’re flamboyantly and unapologetically wonderful, and, should you buy them, you’ll never need to worry about what to wear ever again: it’s not like anyone will be looking at your dress when you have these on your feet, is it?
They have a 4.75″ stiletto heel (and no platform to balance it out), and that very low-cut vamp which is so characteristic of Christian Louboutin’s creations. Although I suspect they may be a little too much for some tastes, I’d love to try these on, if only to walk around the shop floor in them for a few minutes!
These are currently available to pre-order at Neiman Marcus, and you can buy them here.
