Christian Louboutin’s ‘Patinana’ t-bar sandals are another good example of the “barely there” look which the designer does so well. A pale, fishnet upper is sprinkled with a scattering of crystals, leading up the t-bar strap to the slim buckle at the ankle. On the foot, they’ll look almost invisible but for those crystals, creating a glamorous, but relatively understated look, which you’ll be able to wear with almost anything in your wardrobe: evening dresses, jeans, sweatpants… What do you mean you don’t wear your fanciest heels to lounge around at home in your sweats? Doesn’t everyone do that?
OK, well, how YOU choose to wear these is obviously up to you, and I don’t think styling them would be particularly challenging either: they’re barely there, after all! Here’s one way to wear them:
River Island has a great summer collection this year, and I think this blue lace pencil skirt looks far more expensive than it actually is. If you like the look, you might also like the matching lace jacket : I think both together might be a little bit much, which is why I’ve gone for a simpler lace tank instead! I do love this shade of blue, however, and always associate it with summer, which is never a bad thing, as far as I’m concerned!
