Fersengold peep toes, £185
The combination of navy, white and red is one that pops up frequently at this time of year, when the stores are full of the nautical look, and people like me are dreaming of sun, sand and the seaside. And OK, I wouldn’t wear five-inch heels to the seaside (Well, probably not…), but that so-called nautical look works so well on land, too, that’s it’s something I can never resist showing you when I find it in a shoe.
These shoes, however, are a little bit different from the usual red, white and blue combinations, because these are PINK, white and blue. So that’s totally different, obviously.
Actually, while that one small change may not give the shoe a radically different look, it does freshen the look up a little, and add a fun twist to an old classic, without losing any of the details that made the style classic to begin with.
I have a rather large soft-spot for navy, but if you’d prefer a bolder colour, this red version is also a great fit for the nautical theme:
I don’t like the white platform. Which is a shame, as I quite like the rest of the shoe.
