Dune Spring /Summer 2014 Lookbook

I‘m fond of saying that sometimes you need to see a shoe being worn to know what you really think of it, which is one of the reasons I enjoy flipping through each season’s lookbooks when they become available: not only do they give you an idea of what the shoe looks like on, they can also provide inspiration on how to style it, too.

Unfortunately I don’t have the legs for most of the looks in the Dune Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook, but I do love the stark black and white styling, which can be easily adapted to suit any shape/age/style. I’m particularly fond of the all-white look for summer: it’s simple, but so dramatic, and as soon as the weather’s dry enough for me to be able to wear white without fear of spoiling it (Or not with the weather, at least: I can ALWAYS find a way to spoil clothes by spilling something on them!) I’ll be looking forward to getting some bright whites back into rotation!
