Dolce & Gabbana Woven Crochet-Flower Pumps

Now, don’t get me wrong here, I’m partial to a bit of crochet. No, really, I am. It’s one of those skills I’d quite like to learn, in fact. I have this image of myself whiling away the cold, dark January nights by sitting crocheting a quilt, or rug, or some such thing in front of an open fire. (The fact that I don’t actually have an open fire would be just one of the many problems with this, but I digress….)

One thing I haven’t ever really imagined myself doing is crocheting shoes, though. Or wearing crocheted shoes. I don’t know, the two just don’t seem to go together somehow, which is why I find myself looking at these Dolce & Gabbana pumps and being totally unable to make my mind up about them. Do I love them? Do I hate them? I’m not sure. (Well, OK, I’m pretty sure I don’t love them, let’s put it that way.)

What do you think, readers? Want to buy them? If you do, they’re $545 – click here to order a pair from Neiman Marcus.

  • In my opinion they look cheap and not at all designer shoes.. i could crochet the brown flower better!

Btw it’s possible crochet or knit a lot of fashionable clothes.. but it demands time and determination, and as sad as it is, I’m lacking both..

  • there okay, the left one is nicer… but I don’t like them enough to buy them. Especailly when U can spend £30 on a pair of shoes like this, that won’t get ruined in the rain.

  • I’m kinda liking them, in a grandmother’s couch/toaster cozy kinda way. They are so kitschy/homely that they are cool/cute? Maybe, only to me, but I won’t be spending that kind of money on not a sure thing!

  • Its not so much the crochet that bothers me; I don’t like the colors. I think they just look old and kind of gross.
