The autumn/winter 2014 collection from Christian Louboutin just gets better and better, doesn’t it? It’ a good thing the prices are too far out of my budget to even be considered right now, otherwise I’d have a REALLY tough job trying to decide which pair to buy!
One of the pairs that would definitely make the shortlist would be these ‘Ditassima’ patent t-bras. These have a 120mm heel, a soft almond toe, and a TO DIE FOR curved side, which is, you won’t be surprised to hear, the main reason for their appearance as our Friday Louboutin Fix.
I know t-bar shoes can have a rather “prim-and-proper” feel to them at times (I always want to wear them with pencil skirts and pussy-bow blouses, but that might just be me…), but that definitely doesn’t apply to these ones. The colour may be rather “safe”, but that low-cut side, with its fabulous curve, is anything BUT, and there’s nothing even remotely “prim” about them. I know the almond toe will also win the approval of many of my readers: pointed and round toes tend to go in and out of fashion, but the almond toe is the perfect compromise, and probably the easiest of the three to wear and style.
As with most of the current collection, these also have the statement-making “apostrophe” heel, which I for one hope becomes as synonymous with Christian Louboutin shoes as the trademark red sole!
