Christian Louboutin’s ‘Bow Bow’ sandals are one of a few styles the designer has created recently using a perspex upper to create the illusion of bows sitting atop the foot, with no support whatsoever.
It’s taken me a little while to come around to this – something about clear plastic on a $1,000 shoe just doesn’t sit right with me – but every time I see someone wearing them, I very quickly change my mind, because they’re the kind of shoes that just have to be seen on a foot in order to be fully appreciated.
In this case, the foot belongs to Rachel Weisz, seen here at the world premiere of The Bourne Legacy this week. Like Marion Cotillard before here, Rachel has gone for a “two Christians” outfit: the dress is by Christian Dior and the shoes, of course, are by M. Louboutin. They make something of a fashion dream team, don’t they?[More celebrity shoes | More Christian Louboutin shoes]
