Yellow has been a popular colour this winter, and I for one am glad to see it sticking around for the Spring season, too: it’s such a bright, cheerful shade, and a little more unexpected than the usual reds, greens and blues I tend to go for when I want to inject a bit of colour into an outfit.
Yellow can be hard to wear, though, which is why I like these ‘Assess’ platforms by Carvela, which come in a nice, mustard shade, which isn’t too hard on the eye. The colour is broken up by the think gold strip around the platform, and there’s also a three-buckle Mary Jane strap.

Yellow! I’m crazy about mustard yellow.
i actually like the black ones….saw them in store when i was in London for christmas and they are beautiful…unfortunately i had already over-spent on shoes so i had to resist:(
The yellow! Perfect spring/summer colour. These also remind me of the “arrogant” platforms from last season, minus one layer of platform. LOVE them!
Definitely the yellows, I’ve been looking for a new perfect pair of mustard pumps since forever now. I too was tempted by them in London over Christmas, but had already (over)spent my allowed shoe budget. I’ll wait till they go on sale, maybe. At £140 they’re too expensive to justify a ‘random buy’ (= without a special occasion).
Is it just me who reads ASSES with these shoes? I’m so mature. Anyway I am digging the yellow, bought a top that colour today actually, but at £140?! I’ll be waiting for the River Island versions x

The yellow ones! I wish I could justify buying them, but I’ll have a hard time saving the shoes I already have 🙁

I like do like the yellow, but I would always buy the black or purple ones. Probably the purple pair – but purple is my fave colour.
When I first saw them I didn’t like them, but the more I have seen them the more I start to like them and the purple ones are definatly my favourites ^^
I wouldn’t have anything to wear with the yellow ones, although I do like them. I’d go for purple.
Um, I don’t like the color scheme of the platforms on the black ones at all. BUT, I LOVE the yellow and purple ones. I’m not sure I’d be able to choose between them…
both the yellow and purple ones would be great for some 70s styles … if only i could afford them 🙁
