This week’s Wish List is a little bit Boden-centric: to the extent that I feel I have to say that I haven’t been sponsored by them: I just really love the autumn/winter 2014 collection, and I particularly love this dress:
Boden Isla dress, £149
Very similar to the ‘Amy’ dress which featured in an earlier Wish List, but in wool rather than satin, this dress is a winter dream come true. It comes in three different plaid colourways, my favourite of which is shown above, and all three will be perfect for the coming season. It’s not often that I find a dress which I think will look better with tights than without – most of the time I think tights have the ability to bring a look down a notch – but this dress is one of the exceptions, and would look wonderful with thick, opaque tights in navy, green or black. It’s expensive, true, and there’s currently a four week delay on delivery, but if I happen to come across a Boden discount code, I think I could be tempted!
Also on my Boden Wish List is this beautiful blue cocoon coat:
Boden Ingrid coat, £179
Of course, I REALLY love the bubblegum pink ‘Eliza’ coat, which is also part of this season’s collection, but have been forced to conclude that it would clash horribly with my hair, making this bright blue a better – but still bold – choice.
Finally, I can never resist taking a quick look at Boden’s knitwear anytime I’m on the site, and this week this little sweater caught my attention:
I’m a sucker for mint sweaters, and have far too many of them (CAN you have too many?), but this one has cute little beige pockets, which makes it TOTALLY different, and therefore justifies its purchase. Ahem. I also really like the way this looks with the beige trousers the model is wearing: those are two colours I don’t think I’ve worn together before but, well, let’s just say I will now…
