This is by far my favourite heel shape at the moment, and as much as I hate the use of the word “fierce” when applied to fashion, I think it’s probably the best word for it. More modern than a stiletto, but not as clunky as a square heel, it has a bit of a “dangerous” look to it, while the black patent gives it a sexy edge. I really like the contrast of the parent and suede on these shoes, and while the heel has definite sex appeal, the front of the shoe is relatively restrained in comparison, so the effect isn’t too much. Not bad for a black court shoe, no?
Suede part is loverly, byt the patent part is a bit Miss Whiplash/ naughty schoolgirl…catch my drift?

Love these, even if they’re a tad too high for me (for the office at least). Hoping we see more of the suede/patent mix this autumn – it’s a cool look.
