Slight change of pace today, folks: it’s been absolutely ages since I showed you anything other than shoes here, and I’d like to get back into blogging about other shoeper shopping items, too, so I’m starting off today with a selection of cute spring knits from Oasis, who’ve been absolutely knocking it out of the park this season. Seriously, I can’t seem to keep myself away from their website right now, especially when it contains gems like this:
I know yellow is a shade a lot of people view with trepidation, but I think it’s perfect for this time of year, and it can make such a refreshing change from the usual run of pastels, too. I really like the fact that this little cardi has long sleeves: it looks very summery, with it’s lace front and pastel colour, but we all know it can still be a bit nippy at this time of year, so I’m always grateful for tops that will actually cover my arms, rather than ending at the elbows!
(Oh, and if you like the cardi, there’s also a matching dress to go with it: be still, my heart!)
This is one of two pale green jumpers on the site right now (Although the oasis website actually describes this one as “pale blue”- hmmm.), and it’s a hard job to choose between them. I’ve gone for the ‘Rites of Spring’ embroidered top, which is on its way to me as I write this, and will hopefully have had its first outing by the time you read it, but I also love this pretty parakeet print one, too!
I’m always on the lookout for cropped cardigans to wear with my skirts and high-waisted trousers, and, as I said, I prefer them to have full-length sleeves, as I’m permanently freezing, even when it’s warm out. I love the pale blue colour of this one, but I’m thinking the white version might be a touch more practical: decisions, decisions!
