Possibly the cutest “jogging pants” ever

Ted Baker describe these trousers as “jogger pants” – which I’m not sure is the most accurate of descriptions, really. I mean, I’m pretty sure they’re not actually expecting anyone go jogging in them (and, even if they did, I’m not used to paying £120 for my sweatpants, so I’d probably be giving that a miss…), but still, if they’re anything like as comfortable as jogging pants tend to be, then I’m all in.

I know I’ve been saying this a lot over the past year or so, but I’m still trying my best to make my closet as practical as possible (which is hard, because my taste isn’t even remotely practical, unfortunately. You know all those fashion bloggers you see prancing around with bare legs in the winter? The ones everyone turns their nose up at, and talks about how silly they look, in their impractical outfits? I’d totally be one of those bloggers if I didn’t worry so much about the comments I’d get. Like I said, “practical” really isn’t a style that comes naturally to me – I’m working on it, though!), and I think a pair of comfortable trousers, in a neutral colour, would really help me in that mission, don’t you?

Although I’m not generally a fan of frills, ruffles, or any other kind of clothing embellishments (I love them on shoes, but generally prefer clean lines and streamlined shapes when it comes to clothes), I have to admit, I really love the scallops on these trousers, which make them a whole lot more interesting, without being too OTT, or making them difficult to style.

Oh, and of course, I also love the shoes shown with them in this photo – but you could probably have guessed that as soon as you knew this post was about Ted Baker, couldn’t you?
