Oasis Royal Worchester Ballet Flats

I’ve talked a lot lately about my great love for Oasis, and their dedication to creating beautiful floral prints (And, actually, I’ve BOUGHT  lot of the aforementioned florals, if you want to know the truth…), so I couldn’t be happier to discover that the brand’s love of florals also extends to their shoes – namely, these ‘Royal Worchester’ ballet flats.

The pale pink fabric uppers on these shoes gives them a very “dressed up” look, which I love (As ballet flats are so simple, I always think the more extravagant/dressy the uppers are, the better, really…), but they don’t look out of place with the khaki pants Oasis have paired them with in this shot, either, as they’re one of those styles that you can easily dress up or down as required. The print is inspired by the floral print porcelain found at the Museum of Royal Worchester collection, and it’s just so pretty I can’t imagine ever getting tired of it.

I’ve been wearing ballet flats fairly often lately, and, because of that, I’ve found myself itching to update my collection, and, ideally, to add some more prints, as I’ve a tendency to just stick to plain red, black or gold when it comes to flat – which is absolutely fine, of course (I could quite happily just rotate through those three colours forever more, if I had to!), but a change is a good as rest, as they say, and I think these would be the perfect way to update my wardrobe for summer. These are just £25, and that pale pink upper should prove really versatile, too, so I’m sure I’d more than get my money’s worth of them: the biggest danger, of course, is that I’d probably want to add a few more pieces to my basket while I was buying them!
