I think you all probably know by now that I’m just a little bit obsessed with Office shoes right now. I don’t think a single month has passed this year (And, OK, I know we’re only four months into this year, but still…) without yet another delivery from there, and every time I think they can’t possibly find another way to tempt me, they go and release their ‘On To Point’ courts in yet another colour (This month it’s pink: how can I possibly live without them?), and the cycle starts all over again.
As well as wanting to own On To Point in every single available colour (I have four already, but I still have a long way to go if I want to catch ’em all…), this month my attention was also drawn to the ‘Ace’ pumps above, which have a similarly simple shape to On to Point, but with a rounded toe, rather than a pointed one. I haven’t been interested in round toes for a long time now, so I was actually quite surprised by how much I like these, although I guess the rose gold upper was always going to draw me in, wasn’t it?
Speaking of rose gold, my attention was also caught by these ‘Nostalgia’ sandals, which are dead ringers for YSL’s ‘Tribute’:
These shoes are, indeed, ‘Nostalgic,’ in that they were at the height of their popularity a few years ago now. YSL do still sell them, but I was still a little surprised to see them being copied by a high street brand this long after they were first released. Still, if you’ve always wanted a pair of Tributes, but have baulked at the thought of the YSL price tag, maybe these will be just what you were looking for!
