Closet London is one of those brands that kind of dropped off my radar for a while, before bursting back on to it in a big way this year. I’ve been lucky enough to have been sent two dresses by this brand to review recently, and I’ve been so impressed with them that I’ve now started to build an alarmingly long wish list from the site! Right at the top of it is this skirt and blouse combo, which I absolutely love: that neutral-on-neutral look is always one that appeals to me, although I think the blouse would also look really good with a pair of black trousers or jeans.
Closet London floral print dress
I also love this dress, both for the print and for the shape. I know floral print is more commonly seen during spring and summer, but this one has a decidedly autumnal feel, and the dress is one that will look just as good with tights as it does with bare legs.
Closet London purple double-breasted coat
I normally associate Closet London with dresses, however they also do a rather nice line in outerwear, and I’m particularly taken with this coat. The bright purple colour is one you don’t often see, but it looks wonderful with the black jeans and boots shown here, and looks like am excellent way to dress up a casual outfit – and to brighten up a dull winter’s day, into the bargain!
Closet London pink metallic pleated skirt
Finally, I’ve been really loving all of the pleated skirts that are around this season, and although I’m not quite sure how well they’d work on me (I’ve tried this style of skirt before, and have always just felt horribly frumpy in them), I’d still happily give this one a try! Closet London actually do this skirt in quite a few colours, too, so if you don’t like pink, you know where to look!
