I only recently discovered that New Look even HAD a ‘home’ section (I know, I’m late to the party, as usual…), but when I did, there was no looking back: because this is basically what a ‘home’ section would look like if bloggers were in charge, isn’t it?
I mean, I had to try really hard to restrain myself from buying some of these items just because they’d look good on Instagram (Oh, don’t look at me like that: I know you’ve bought things for their Instagram potential, too – don’t even try to convince me otherwise!)
I have to admit to being embarrassingly basic when it comes to things like this: I know it’s all very trendy and ubiquitous, but I just can’t help but like it. In my defence, however, the two lidded mugs with straws are actually super-practical: I got one as a gift last Christmas, and it was a complete life-saver when I came down with a heavy cold on boxing day and was up all night coughing – it was so much easier to sip from a straw without having to sit up in bed, or worrying about spilling water all over it!
