Five Fabulous Dresses from ASOS

It’s been a while since I did an ASOS roundup, so here’s a quick look at some of the gorgeous dresses that have been added to my Wish List lately…

Elise Ryan Bandeau Midi Prom Dress In Organza Floral Print

Elise Ryan Bandeau Midi Prom Dress In Organza Floral Print, £82

Can we just pretend it’s summer, so I can have an excuse to buy and wear this gorgeous organza dress? Actually, I’d also have to pretend I had a wedding to attend (anyone feel like getting married? Anyone at all?) too, because even if it WAS summer, this would still be a little too fancy for my current lifestyle, but hey, a girl can dream!

True Violet Scuba Bardot Pencil Dress In Gingham Ombre Print

True Violet Scuba Bardot Pencil Dress In Gingham Ombre Print, £49

This dress combines two things I love – gingham and Bardot necklines – but the ombre print puts a fresh spin on the look, which I really love.

Chi Chi London Bandeau Debutant Midi Skater Dress In Floral Print

Chi Chi London Bandeau Debutant Midi Skater Dress In Floral Print, £60

This is another strapless dress, and another one that will really only be suitable for certain occasions, but it’s just so pretty I couldn’t possibly not include it. Chi Chi London is a brand that’s been on my radar for a while now, and they’ve made some spectacular dresses lately, so I doubt this is the last you’ll be hearing of them!

Frock and Frill Embellished Top Midi Skater Dress With Tulle Skirt

Frock and Frill Embellished Top Midi Skater Dress With Tulle Skirt, £125

I had to include something in mint green: the fact that this dress also has an embellished bodice and tulle skirt, well, that doesn’t hurt either…

ASOS Premium Bonded Scuba Pleat Midi Dress

ASOS Premium Bonded Scuba Pleat Midi Dress, £65

Finally, if you’re looking something to wear on more of a day-to-day basis, without having to wait for a special occasion, this dress is in a thick, scuba fabric, and depending on how you style it, it could be suitable for work AND whatever you do afterwards…

  • I really love the look of floral prints and the two bandeaus are gorgeous. Wish strapless dresses were part of the guy’s wardrobe selections, for I wouldn’t hesitate to get the Chi Chi London just to wear its floral print design with a pair of black patent stiletto pumps. I’m not trying to be weird, for I know such an outfit has only been seen as women’s, but the guy’s wardrobe is so dull and limited. This means I want to branch out and have more versatility for my clothing selections. Besides my social stereotyping doesn’t stop me from liking the CCL floral print enough to add such an item to wear with my stilettos. Wonder if the dress comes in my size?

  • I’m meant to have given up shopping for a year – the chi chi london and the true violet are tempting me to crack 2 months in!
