We’re all used to seeing Miu Miu use glitter on the outside of their shoes, but this time round they’re turned that look on its head – or on its heels, rather – and used the glitter on the inside, instead.
Both the inner heel and a section of the sole are coated in the sparkly stuff, and I like the way they’ve used a contrasting purple glitter with these red suede pumps. The navy shade which these are also available in, meanwhile, is just a little more restrained, with a matching sole:
I was pretty sure Miu Miu had exhausted all of their options when it comes to glitter and shoes (and I’m sure they must own shares in a glitter factory, or something!) but these are yet another twist on the old favourite, and a great-looking one at that.

I own the burgundy peeptoe version of these and I love them! They are super comfortable and have that adorable signature Prada/Miu Miu peeptoe shape. Ooh, I forgot to mention that a really nice detail is that the glitter is multi-size (you can see it either by zooming on the Neiman Marcus or Net-a-Porter pictures, which makes it seem a lot more sophisticated and multi-faceted.
