Wood and glitter may not be the most obvious combination when it comes to creating shoes, but it’s one that Alice + Olivia have used before, and I think it actually works much better than I would have expected.
These ‘Lansey’ sandals have a bit of a 70s vibe to them, thanks to the sparkly upper and super-high platform: they’re true disco shoes, and also remind me just a little bit of Jeffrey Campbell’s ‘Lita’ pumps, and all of the spin-offs they’ve inspired over the past couple of years. I’ve never been keen on the Litas, but I do like these – or perhaps I’m just dazzled by all that glitter!
