I’ve featured a few of Rachel Zoe‘s shoes here, and have been generally quite impressed with the line, but I think these mustard yellow ‘Bardot’ platforms have to be my favourites so far.
That I love the colour of these shoes is pretty much a given, but there’s a lot more to love than just that mustard upper. There’s the woven texture of the double platform, which contrasts nicely with the leather above it; the 5.5″ conical heel (Don’t worry, the platform comes in at 1.75″, so it shouldn’t be too hard to walk on, although I make no promises…), and, oh, just the overall shape of these, which would stand out in a crowd (of shoes) regardless of the colour of the upper.
These are $325 at Shopbop, and seem to be just crying out to be worn with a bright, cobalt dress. I think I could possibly help them out there…
