The “Clear Shoe” trend: it’s spreading.
Jimmy Choo is the latest brand to decide that, hey, making shoes out of plastic may be a great idea, and you can see the evidence of that above. In JC’s defence, however, they’ve done this kind of thing before (I refer, of course, to the infamous light-up heels), and they’ve also managed to do it much better than most, here: in fact, if I wasn’t so opposed to the idea of see-through shoes, I might actually find some of the detailing on the heels quite beautiful:
I’m a little less convinced by the toes:
What do you think of these? Love? Hate? Indifference? Do tell…

These are like granny stripper heels. Disappointed Jimmy, really
Momo
I’m agree with you ;D
Daisy
Oooh nooo Jimmy this won’t do. They look so tacky/tranny!
Denise
Well… I don`t know… but I didn`t hate them…
Jenny
For Jimmy Choo’s sake, I really hope this is one of those looks-better-on pairs of shoes!
Tali
I confess I quite like them! I’m loving those plastic items very dangerously lately.
But what do I know? I just bought Alexander Wang PVC Duffle bag..
I guess I’m addicted o_O
Tracey
Sometimes I wonder what Tamara was thinking, allowing shoes like this out into the world.
Alison
Hooker heels.
Megan
I can’t see clear shoes without immediately thinking STRIPPER SHOES!
Rebecca
The front of these look like the cheap dressup shoes I wore when i was younger.
Michelle
I LOVE them! I though to myself I would wait until at least the first price reduction at my fav dept store to buy…after all this is NYC and it would be a while before I’d be wearing them and hell, who was going to pay $2500 for Lucite shoes. WRONG! Only size 6 & 7 remain. I can’t believe it. I waited too long…2 WEEKS!
