Alberto Guardiani lipstick-heeled shoes

Every so often, a designer takes it into his or her head to stick lipstick on the heel of a shoe. I kinda wish they wouldn’t, to be honest. I know some people will argue that it’s “quirky” and “cute”, and God knows, I love red lipstick and I love black pumps, so you’d think I’d love any combination of the two. You’d be wrong, though: this is just way too gimmicky for me, but if it’s just what you’ve been waiting for all your life, you can click here to buy these for £269.

What do you think of them?

I’m with you, I think they look weird. More like art than actual footwear. Like if I saw them in a museum, I’d stop and snap a picture with them, but I’d never buy (or wear) them.

Defininitely “no way” for me… and the heel looks fragile, anyway!

The moment I saw the shoes I was like ‘Will the lippies in the heels smash if I step into it…???!!!!!’

They look unsteady and I get the feeling the lipstick would be mashed if I take a step, but I still like them! I can’t help it. I think they are just the right amount of quirky.
