I gasped twice when these Burberry Wellington boots appeared on Net-a-Porter this week: first at the very sight of them – well, it’s not every day you see a pair of wellies which could be described as a “fashion statement”, and I do have a weakness for studs – and secondly at the price, which is £235. Two hundred pounds, for a pair of wellies? Not even if every single one of those studs was a giant diamond. (Well, OK, maybe if they were diamonds. That would be a bargain.)
What say you to them, readers? Would you pay that much for rain boots? If you would, click here to buy them from Net-a-Porter.
Whip me, beat me, take me out to the garden to pull weeds!
If I ever had a need for gumboots, I’d definitely want these.
Well, I don’t own or wear wellies, but if I did – these would be the ones!
ummmm *sheepishly raises hand* I bought the Jimmy Choo for Hunter wellies in red :/ Though technically my husband bought them FOR ME. That means he’s the crazy one and I’m still ok… right? xxx
whats a rain boot? is it the same as wellies?
that’s about £230 more than i’ve ever spent on wellies (or would spend) ..
