Manolo Blahnik 'Gotico' booties
When I spotted these shoes at Neiman Marcus, I immediately thought they looked like the kind of thing you’d see being worn in some kind of period drama – or on the feet of the wicked witch in Snow White. That peaked front either says “supervillain” or “well dressed aristocrat from ye olden days” and I’m not quite sure which. Not that it matters, mind you: I love them either way and while I’d love to wear them with something like a tailored, 40s style suit, complete with matching gloves and hat, I think they’d work just as well with more modern pieces.
