Partial though I am to a shoe with a big ol’ lump of something sparkly on the toe, it was actually the colour of the uppers on these Dorothy Perkins ballet flats that drew me to them. That soft teal and bright purple make me think of candy, and Springtime, and other, happy things, and the brooches on the toes also give them a slightly decadent feel. All of those things are plus-points as far as I’m concerned, and here’s another one: they’re only £23 each. I’m very tempted to add a pair to my wish list: I just need to decide which colour I like best!
