I don’t often shop from Next’s clothing collections, but I must admit, they have a rather nice line in ballet flats, with everything from jewelled Miu-Miu-esque party flats to these simple but chic little flexible ballerinas, which come complete with a striped bow threaded through the front.

These are available in red and white/blue, and I’d be hard pressed to choose between them, because the colours are just perfect for summer. The white shoes have a lovely, fresh look about them, while the red versions are a little bit sassier. Both are £28, and you can choose your colour here.
