Readers, take it from me: if you ever find youselves thinking, “Oh, hey, I think I will spin round for this photo, it’ll be fun,” don’t do it. Just don’t. Because you’ll make yourself feel really, really sick. And will end up with dozens of photos of your own knickers, from all those times when your skirt flew just a little TOO high. Let’s not even mention the fact that I spun so fast one of my arms apparently flew off. OMG, WHERE IS MY ARM?! (Also: I’m not actually waving at you all in the picture on the right – or not intentionally, anyway – but, um, hi anyway!)
Anyway. Nausea-inducing or not, this dress was made for spinning in. I got it for £5 in the H&M sale a couple of weeks ago, and even although it’s too big for me (I’ll be having it altered soon) and is clearly a summer dress, I couldn’t resist wearing it this week. I made it a little more wintery with these black New Look ankle boots, which aren’t particulalry exciting in themselves, but which have seen a lot of wear in the year or so I’ve owned them, and which are the sixth pair of shoes to be “rescued” in my Shoe Challenge.
Now I need to go and lie down…
(My arm is missing again! Aaaargh!)

Is that the dress that fit both you & Caroline (@fairynuff27)? Looks fab! And don’t you have a lot of black boots? A friend once told me I had more pairs of black boots than anyone she knew, but I think you might beat me!

I think it’s the one Caroline mentioned, not 100% sure, though.
I just thought about it, and I have 6 pairs of black boots. Other than one pair I’d neglected until the start of this challenge, though, I actually get loads of wear out of all of them. This is what happens when you like in a country where it’s permanently winter!

As usual, I loved the photos, the outfit, my God, really something! Really gorgeous! And the boots? I loved them! I am… was… looking for a pair of boots like these for ages… and didn’t find one that I could say “these ones!” Well, now… yes! Enjoy them, lovely!

69 (dude!) pairs left to go – I put a little thingy in the sidebar to try to keep track of them! I think once spring arrives it’ll get easier – at the moment I’m heavily restricted by the weather, hence the constant rotation of black boots!
