Olivia Fox in ballet flats on the Grammy Awards red carpet

LFI GRAMMYARR231 Olivia Fox in ballet flats on the Grammy Awards red carpet

You could be forgiven, sometimes, for thinking that the dress code for most red carpet events reads “must wear very high heels”, so it makes a nice change to see someone flouting that convention, and turning up in a pair of flats. Olivia Fox chose these metallic flats to wear with her pale green dress at last night’s Grammy Awards. She looks very fresh and pretty here, although in contrast to some of the other outfits on show last night, she actually managed to look rather casual in comparison.

What do you think of this as a red carpet look?

  1. Lovely shoes, perfectly appropriate for an evening do. No fan of the dress though, I must admit. And the bag looks dodgy too.

  2. I think it was an excellent choice!
.-= Denise´s last blog ..Mine mine mine! =-.

  3. It seems a bit casual but compared to Lady GaGa she looks very pretty and fresh.
    .-= Tracey´s last blog ..Beginnings =-.

  4. is that really olivia wilde?

  5. For me it looks way too casual, more a picnic thing. And it`s me or the shoes look chipped?

  6. She looks nice, but not for the Grammys. I think you should go a bit wild for the Grammys. I agree she looks like she is going to a picnic instead.

  7. Seems too casual to me. Looks like she’s headed to brunch.

  8. She’s dressed waaay too casual for the Grammys. She could have gotten away with the flats with maybe a fancier dress and better hairstyle – maybe with her hair down.

  9. it’s not Olivia Wilde, it’s Olivia Fox

    • Whoops, so it is – corrected now!
