You know Spring is on its way (And THANK GOD for that, I say!) when every second shoe you see has a great big flower attached to it somewhere.

These thong sandals are from River Island, and are reminiscent of similar styles by likes of Giuseppe Zannoti from a couple of years back. The frugal part of me says that if you really wanted to get this look, it would be simple enough to buy a fabric flower (You can usually find them attached to hair bands in places like Claire’s Accessories, or, indeed, the accessories section of most high street stores) and stick them onto a pair of flip flops yourself. The lazy part of me, on the other hand, says “True, but if you can’t be bothered doing that, you can just buy these ones for £29.99 at River Island.”
