Over the Christmas period, the weather here was so bad that even I was forced to abandon my heels at times and go for more “sensible” footwear – shudder!
I’m not sure these French Connection flats count as “sensible” – they’re much too pretty for that – and they wouldn’t provide much in the way of grip, or protection from the snow, but they do make a nice alternative to a pair of party heels, and you’d have a better chance of remaining upright in them after a couple of glasses of champagne.

I dunno… that enormous breadroll on the front is a little off-putting.

For some reason the first thought that went through my head was that I would trip and fall wearing them. The jeweled toe area looks distracting.
