Rene Caovilla satin platform slingbacks
The front of these shoes may not be much to write home about, but hey, look at those soles! Not only is the platform studded with crystals, the sole itself is a shimmery silver which is really rather special. And I know, I know: no one would even see them once they were on, but you’d know they were there, and sometimes it’s these little details that make a shoe.
Sadly, in this case, I don’t think the unusual sole is enough to warrant the $1,295 price tag. As I said, the satin part of the shoe is just very ordinary looking to me, and not even the bling at the bottom is going to lift these into the thousand-dollar-shoe category for me. If they do it for you, though, you can buy a pair at Bergdorf Goodman.
That much for non-Louboutins? Crazy talk. They are glam though.
