Aruna Seth black butterfly peep toe shoes

aruna seth butterfly shoes Aruna Seth black butterfly peep toe shoesAruna Seth shoes belong in that special category of beautiful things I will probably never own because I just don’t have the kind of lifestyle to do them justice. These beautiful butterfly-front peep toes, for instance, look like they belong on the red carpet, or at some kind of exclusive event at the very least - although I guess you could always wear them to clean the bathroom/do the ironing in too, if you really wanted to. I won’t tell if you don’t.

If you do have an event to wear them too, or feel like inventing one just for the hell of it, they’re £435, and you can find them here.

Raffia and patent isn’t a mixture that sounds like it should work to me, but then again, I’m not generally all that keen on raffia shoes no matter what they’re paired with, so that’s possibly just my own bias talking.  Despite that, however, I actually really like these Olivia Morris peep toes, which mix a raffia heel with a black patent toe and strap.

It’s the over-sized buckle that really sets these shoes apart, and the two-tone uppers help, too. They’re just a little bit out of place at this time of year, but could be worth tucking away for a summer party. Get them at The Outnet, where they’re £192.50.

    Eeek!

I’ve mentioned before that I’m super-clumsy, so I can only imagine all of the laddered tights and other injuries shoes like these could lead to! They’re by Louise Goldin, and although they look like they belong firmly on the catwalk (and ONLY on the catwalk), they’re part of her Spring/Summer 2010 collection for Topshop. Which means we could soon see lots and lots of women walking around wearing them.

Will you be one of them, though?

The fact that these shoes are currently only available to pre-order, and yet are still already sold out, is probably destined to be one of those great mysteries of life to me.

Sure, I can see that they’d be real attention-getters, and I’m already biased because of my general dislike of peep toe boots, but it’s all just too, too much for me.

If it isn’t too much for you, these are $169.95, and I found them at SoleStruck, but as I say, the pre-order is already sold out, so you may have to look elsewhere, or wait for more stock to come in!

Moda in Pelle ‘Molli’ peep toes now on sale

It’s been a while since I last looked at the Moda in Pelle website, so I decided to rectify that today, and found these cute little ‘Molli’ peep toes are now on sale.  I, of course, like them for the triple-bow on the front, but I also like the colours available – the bright pink is pretty, and will add some much-needed colour to black dresses, or even jeans, while the beige is less-exciting on its own, but will go with almost anything.

These are currently reduced to £40, and you can grab a pair here.

Red Marilyn Mon-bow ankle boots from Modcloth

red bow booties Red Marilyn Mon bow ankle boots from ModclothWhen will I learn to stay away from the Modcloth website? I don’t think I’ve ever looked at it without finding something I instantly wanted to buy, and today that “something” is these red ‘Marilyn’  ankle boots, which are adorable, and only $42.99.

Of course, this being Modcloth, and the world not being fair, they’re already selling out fast, so my apologies if your size is gone by the time you see this. If it’s any consolation, mine is too. Oh, the humanity!

Steve Madden ‘Dyme’ knee high boots

    by

steve madden dyme boots Steve Madden Dyme knee high bootsSteve Madden has been accused of ripping off so many other designers now that I always feel vaguely suspicious when I discover a style of his I like. BUT. These tan knee-high ‘Dyme’ boots are exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for for months, now: I love the buttons at the top of the leg, the high heel, and even the platform. In fact, for the sake of mu bank account, I’m kind of wishing I hadn’t noticed that the site offers international shipping now.

Even without the shipping ($34, in case you’re wondering, but if you’re not in the US, you’re probably going to get hit with a customs charge, too – I almost always do!), these aren’t cheap at $229.95, but they are lovely, and they’re also available in black, too. Get them at Steve Madden.
