I can’t seem to visit the Kurt Geiger website without finding something to drool over. Today it was these Carvela slingbacks, which are mire interesting than they look at first glance, thanks to the usual, mirror-effect heels. Ordinarily, this particular shade of bright yellow would be a guaranteed turn-off for me, but in this case it totally makes the shoe, and I think I might just love it. I particulalry luke the way the yellow in the heel is picked up at the front of the peep-toe: a Louboutn-esque touch, which helps make an ordinary black slingback a little more special.

I am not a fan of yellow in general and the heels on these remind me of pencils.
