I love Cheryl Cole. Even when she’s pulling a face, as she is in the photo you’ll find under the jump (it was the only one that showed the shoes!) she’s still so super-cute,  isn’t she ?

Cheryl is another celebrity who takes the high-heeled approach to travel (or at least for the cameras on arrival, anyway), choosing these Charlotte Olympia platforms to arrive at LAX yesterday. When I first spotted these shoes a Net-a-Porter, I thought they were cute, but very unwearable – and I’m not a huge fan of what I’ve come to think of as “the half-platform” effect – but while this is admittedly not the clearest photo of them in use, they actually look much nicer on than I’d thought they would.

These are currently in the Net-a-Porter sale for £290.50, but sizes are very limited.  What do you think of them?
