The words “clear heels” are normally guaranteed to make me think “stripper shoes”, but these Alexander McQueen sandals are a bit more special than that. These heels look more like they’ve been carved out of ice, or hewn out of a lump of crystal than anything else, and the effect is picked up on the nude straps with more crystal droplets.
Those heels are 5″ tall, but there’s also a small (1″) platform to make them easier to walk in. As you would expect, shoes like these ones don’t come cheap, though: they’re £1,395 at Net-a-Porter.
