I thought long and hard about which shoes should be the very first ones to be featured here at Shoeperwoman.
Clearly these shoes would have to be special. They would have to be head-turning, jaw-dropping, and all of those other phrases that imply “Whooaa, look at those shoes!” They wouldn’t necessarily have to be the kind of shoes you’d wear every day, or even on a regular basis, but they would have to be the kind of shoes I’d happily put up on display here at my secret hideout, when I wasn’t wearing them. They’d have to be shoe kryptonite – the kind of footwear that will easily destroy both my willpower and my sanity.
In other words, they would have to be Christian Louboutin’s glitter platform pumps.
These fulfill all of the criteria outlined above, plus they’d make me feel like a princess. A slightly OTT kind of princess, sure, but a princess all the same.

I’m about to buy a pair of Louboutins as my present to myself for finishing my Master’s degree. I’ll probably go for the more “practical” black ones, but so fitting to start a shoe blog with these!

These shoes are beautiful. I want them for my wedding, I can just imagine them peeking out from under my dress. And you could totally wear them again unlike normal bridal shoes.

Oh, definitely! I always think that if you buy wedding shoes you can wear again, it allows you to justify a more extravagant purchase!
If I had these, I think I actually would wear them every day. And I’d sleep in them. And would probably spend the rest of my life just staring at my feet

I love the new site! Congrats! Also: I love the shoes. They are like giant sparkle cupcakes…for your feet! That doesn’t make much sense, but they have overwhelmed me with their greatness
